Looking into TriVita's Sonoran Bloom, Nopalea

TriVita hasn't released a lot of info yet on the Sonoran Bloom line, so I've been reading what I can just on the Nopal Cactus and the multitude of health benefits attributed to these cacti from the Sonoran Desert.

Now, remember, this information is not from TriVita nor do I know yet that these qualities apply to the Trivita Sonoran Bloom line, or the announced products (Opuntia Liquid Concentrate and Streptocantha topical gel)

These are just health benefits credited to the Nopalea (Prickly Pear) Cactus by others--and I'm too excited to wait for more details from TriVita.

Ok, so disclaimers aside, these are some of the health benefits claimed by others for this desert plant.

Remember, I don't know what the Sonoran Bloom line by TriVita will be designed to accomplish on our road to health and wellness, but just the possibilities are very exciting to me!!

And once again, I think that if TriVita was a scam, they wouldn't have to go to the extreme lengths of development and research on every new product. I understand the Sonoran Bloom line has been in development and testing for years.

TriVita News Release-Sonoran Bloom

TriVita has announced a new product line called Sonoran Bloom™. On April 1, 2009 they plan to introduce the first of these products which are made from the Nopalea Cacti found in the Sonoran Desert. There will initially be two products. An Opuntia liquid concentrate and Streptocantha gel which will have a topical application. This line has been in development for over 2 years. Trivita and Diabetes....Is it a SCAM??

One of the things that reassures me that TriVita is not a scam is the scientifically based and doctor developed products.

And a great example of this is in the two products that I have noticed are particularly beneficial for diabetics.

The First product is Stevia and is actually beneficial for anyone who is now using another artificial sweetener or even anyone using sugar and not just better for diabetics.

TriVita Scam Research and the BBB(Better Business Bureau)

I'm sure most everyone is aware of the Better Business Bureau, basically it is a consumer advocacy company who rates companies based on their response to consumer complaints and at times acts as an intermediary for resolution of those complaints. For someone looking to do business with a company of any kind, the BBB is an invaluable tool. If you are looking at a home-based business and you are hearing all the hype but want a more objective evaluation, the BBB is one place to go.

For example, the last home-based business I was involved in prior to looking at TriVita has a rating of F with the BBB. In the last 36 months they've had 1763 complaints.....I should have paid better attention!

Another business I see promoted on the internet alot is GDI(Global Domains, Inc.). They are not a member of the BBB and have a rating of F. Doesn't inspire confidence.

In contrast, WalMart has had 197 complaints in the last 36 months and based on resolution of the complaints has a rating of A+. To me, it looks like they pay attention to customer satisfaction.

Sears has had 15,681 compaints in the last 36 months and is rated Satifactory.

Ok, how about TriVita? In the last 36 months, TriVita has had 5 complaints with the BBB and all 5 have been resolved. They have a rating of A- and have been an accredited member of the BBB since February, 2004.

Furthermore, Ellison Media (parent company of TriVita) has been an accredited member of the BBB since October, 1997 and has a rating of A+.

Is TriVita a scam? Not according to anything I've found with the Better Business Bureau.
