Looking into TriVita's Sonoran Bloom, Nopalea

TriVita hasn't released a lot of info yet on the Sonoran Bloom line, so I've been reading what I can just on the Nopal Cactus and the multitude of health benefits attributed to these cacti from the Sonoran Desert.

Now, remember, this information is not from TriVita nor do I know yet that these qualities apply to the Trivita Sonoran Bloom line, or the announced products (Opuntia Liquid Concentrate and Streptocantha topical gel)

These are just health benefits credited to the Nopalea (Prickly Pear) Cactus by others--and I'm too excited to wait for more details from TriVita.

Ok, so disclaimers aside, these are some of the health benefits claimed by others for this desert plant.
  • reduction of hyperglycemia(high blood sugar)
  • reduction of LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels
  • treatment of atherosclerosis(cardiovascular inflammation causing plaque in blood vessels
  • colon cleansing
  • stimulates the healing of gastric ulcers and gastrointestinal inflammation
  • combat oxidative stress (it's an anti-oxidant)
  • stimulate and regulate immune function and liver function
  • hangover treatment and remedy
  • eliminates metabolic syndrome which leads to obesity
  • etc.
Remember, I don't know what the Sonoran Bloom line by TriVita will be designed to accomplish on our road to health and wellness, but just the possibilities are very exciting to me!!

And once again, I think that if TriVita was a scam, they wouldn't have to go to the extreme lengths of development and research on every new product. I understand the Sonoran Bloom line has been in development and testing for years.
